I do.
Used it emerald once. It was pretty good.
It's pretty bulky for the first half of the game and gets by with a wide movepool on the second.
Plus he's cute.

Swalot is supposed to be the midpoint between Muk (specially defensive physical attacker) and Weezing (physically defensive special attacker) but winds up being significantly worse than both.

Design wise, it's supposed to be a stomach.

I like its design but then I always remember that it's a poison type in the Hoenn region and there aren't any notable grass users (gym leaders, e4, etc) to use it against.

I do. Decided to use a gulpin in emerald once because I was trying to make a team with only stuff I had never used before, and this thicc boy ended up being so good. The one time I played omega ruby I just had to catch one again

I used to be pretty indifferent to it, but it's grown a lot on me recently. I'd never used before until I caught one in a recent playthrough of Reborn and this fat boy was the MVP of the first 5 gyms.
