Why are Pokémon trailers always so shit?

No foreplay, they just blow their load immediately and then it's over.

The LGPE trailers are slowly morphing into a pre-release walkthrough.

Pokemon trailers are far more direct than they used to be in the past. They present the information they need to present and then leave.

For the Western trailers, they present everything short and to the point because people have limited time and are generally impatient. For the Japanese trailers, they include more footage because the people there want as much information as possible.

Furthermore, these games are remakes of Yellow, with mostly the same features as said games. The GO integration stuff was already mentioned early on so as to not confuse people what exactly these games are supposed to be.

The games next year should have far more info and content in them. Just wait until then.

It’s USUM all over again - just expect shitty “ultra changes” (aka a few added flowers) and hand over your $60. They’re literally just Yellow ported to the switch, to the point where’s there’s not even held items and no sign yet of a time cycle. The only marketing value is the visual upgrades and potential new Megas of the same game you already have, so they have nothing to show since they’re literal carbon-copies of a game released 20 years ago because GameFreak cares more about cashing in on nostalgia then trying to breathe life into an old game, sadly
