In all honesty it doesn't bother me in the slightest that games like LGPE are being made, if causuals,genwunners and toddlers want it then let them have their fun.
My only problem is that TPC had to put Gamefreak to work on it, forcing the progress for the new gen to slow down for the entire year. Why couldn't they just ask idk someone like Genius Sonority to develop it, all they fucking do nowadays is Shuffle

I’m pretty sure Let’s Go is just a test to see how the switch handles their engine and how far they can go with the new gen considering the fact that the design and program teams are separate. Then again. This is Gamefreak.

This is to give them time to build an engine native for Switch, especially when LGEP is exactly like emuing a 3DS game in citra. Reused engine and assets, with minor upgrades (which undoubtedly are being used in the future games, even HGSS only got the walking sprites as the team working on Gen V were making them for Entree forest). Taster of what's to come, with the promise of more. Honestly, while I was a 2018 fag, knowing they're taking the extra year, while also having released a game for the console already to have some familiarity with the system for the main effort is giving me a lot of assurances. Most of the 3DS games problems where the unit was too weak to do what GF ultimately wanted to do.Now it's more than they've ever had available for a core game, I'm betting they'll be a little better than before (despite what people want to think, they ran decent on GBA/DS hardware)

Let's be honest right here, i'd still take up to at least 2020 for GF to release a complete fully fleshed out game, expecially with the jump from small handhelds to console. I want to optimistic about it but i won't be surprised if it turns out to be another DP/XY
