-The decent to good designs outweighed the bad. Even if the "bad" designs get more attention
-The Trubish and Vanillite families weren't that awful(in fact, they wouldn't look out of place as Gen 1 or 2 designs)
-Best Bugs in the franchise
-The redundant/lazy Kamis were redeemed by their Therian forms
-Musketeers brought variety to the fighting type
I feel Gen 4 had the weakest roster imo. I don't think any gen had a bad roster of designs, but it felt the least "innovative" with its reliance of cross-gen evos & pre-evos. Was okay in Gen 2, but they took it too far on this one
