Are you in the post-game?
You could hatch one abusing the RNG, it was super easy in DP though i'm not sure if it works the same in platinum

Basically i remember it was:
>Get the daycare man hold an egg
>Catch a high-level pokemon and determine its IVs
>Input that info in RNG reporter to know your seed
>Tap the affection poketch app X amount of times to advance the seed (number appears in rng reporter)
>Receive the egg
>Shiny
