>>36322989I don't mean it's a nessesary bad series, just lazy and kinda barebones. Like I played the game and I see how someone can like it. It's just that seem to like diffrent things in vidya so I had to strugle until the end (and the post game is impossible to complete without a guide). I had favorite portraits and headcanons about their personality and relationships so it wasn't so bad actually but compared to other jrpgs EO series is rather underwhelming.
Does the arbitrary number really matter so much as long as the content provided justify it??
It's not just a number, friend when in most of other games you have 6-10 towns with modeled streets, houses, shops, inn etc. and you can walk around them as a sprite or 3d model, talk to the npcs, go into their houses serve , steal their belongings... VS. 1-2 towns which are backgrounds with menus and you can only go to the buildings with some purpose (which is not a bad thing but y'know) which again are just a backgrounds with menus and there's one only npc in them.
Nexus looks as it is looks better than previous games of the series but I don't like how they didn't make new portraits for the classes they reuse.
That being said I can still see hope for EO but only after they change some things.
