The only people who aren't assholes about making it better shouldn't be anywhere near Pokémon because they're either accepting of the shit or supportive of it and either way are standing in the way if getting the things that can be fixed, fixed.
The sad part is you know they're not really fence sitters or nostalgiafags. Those people don't come to the "fan" places because they don't care.
They're really just sad people who can't accept they're being abused. Can't accept how shit on they've been because then they'd have to admit how stupid and naive they've been. Why people see that as a flaw they can't accept in themselves, I'll never know. Everyone, no matter how smart, or rich, or good looking they are does stupid shit and has to learn from it.
Game Freak is doing bad shit and they need to accept it.
