kanto pandering is tired as hell but its not as bad as removing good features. i dont care about linearity/easy difficulty because those are in every pokemon. yes gen 6 and 7 made that way more apparent, but no pokemon game is hard and i value replayability over the deep exploration/difficulty of the first playthrough. if you want a hard pokemon game, set your own rules and make it hard.
as for unskippable cutscenes, it sucks and does hurt replayability but im used to it so i dont really care. i like to play pokemon games while im doing something else so its not like ill be painstakingly waiting for the cutscene to end, ill just be distracted with something else yknow.
