Stuff that's basically mere fish or acuatic life in general without outlandish magic or monster elements: corsola, remoraid, finneon, luvdisc, basculin, etc. There are real life fish more unbelievable than any of the pokemon I just named.
Stuff like venusaur and serperior wouldn't be outlandish at all on tropical environments to be honest. Weird, sure, but I could perfectly believe a rafflesia became bros with a giant toad somewhere in the tropics.
