How are we coping triplesbros? I'm still holding out hope that the framerate with trainers on field was the only reason they were removed and it was always planned to come back after the 3DS.

LGPE still has framerate drops because Masuda and GF are fucking retarded. Even if they did decide to fix the issues, you really think they'll go OUT of their way to re-add a removed feature? They're known for the opposite.

I always imagine how Pokemon would be if Sakurai and his team directed one.

Where? In the last trailer it showed a double battle with 3 trainers on screen and it looked smooth to me.

I think they were scared of going full final fantasy. I think it's a cool option even though it doesn't appeal to me. I'm always dissapointed when content is removed.

they definitely removed it because of issues with it running like shit. sun and moon feels like a slap in the face to anyone who still has an old 3ds and not a new3ds(tm), triples would definitely crash the game at least half the time if they were in it. probably the only reason they made another 4 pokemon battle mode.
that being said i wouldnt be too hopeful on it returning (at least not immediately) considering how lazy theyve been being and its not a super popular feature. following pokemon came back after not being able to be in gen 5 due to issues with it working properly and presumably it was cut from gen 7 for the same reason, so im hopeful in that sense. but following pokemon was actually a popular feature so..

the trainers disappear when moves are being used which is the main issue also it still lags like shit. plus pokemon models have a lot more to them than trainer models, obviously.
the fact that battle royals lag more than triples did should let you know theres definitely an issue with how gen 7 runs some things.

Trainers in general with few exceptions are much lower poly and also have less animation attached meaning they'd be less taxing than Triples or Rotation.

I was really having with Triples at the end, having figured out how to slow them down but Rotation is what I really miss. Best battle style ever.

The real confusion is why Inverse had to go even though they use the matchups in the fucking Plaza.

Quit playing cold turkey when they removed triples & rotation, to be honest at this point it would be difficult to return considering my ire is directed at alolashit which was responsible for this. I'd be more than happy to see Battle Royale abandoned.

So for the last 4 years I've played ORAS triples in Vs. Recorder mock battles. Has there been any success in spoofing custom download tests for battle institute? It's been there since since BW but as far as I know there were only download tests for BW and BW2, and none for triple and rotation (bad move, along with no triple and rotation support for battle subway, had to wait for PWT)
