1. Not actual Pokemon fans, but anime- and drawing-faggots that desire to have more boards
2. Overly interested in Pokemon and hypocrits when it comes to any competition to the franchise, thus making them blind for reality and intolerant
3. Ignorant in personality or have a lack of ability to understand something they don't know much about/don't like.
4. Oldfags that remember the time when it was the norm for Pokemon-players and fans to hate on Digimon.
5. They want to be edgy
I actually like both, though Pokemon generally has the better games and Digimon the better tv-series, sometimes they were able to be good at the other ones better category, nowadays they have both been pretty much lost parts of their appeal and have been in a downward spiral for quite a while.
