A feature that's never been implemented in any fashion but would be a massive QoL improvement: a method for changing your pokemon's nature, like a "training camp" or some other gimmick.

Just because people like it doesn't mean it's a good feature. The Pelago is crap because it isn't engaging and yet rewards the player for doing nothing besides starting the timers. It's Facebook tier game design. All those things and items you can get from it should be earned, through content that's actually played such as the Pokéathlon and Sinnoh underground's digging activity.

Blissey bases are shit for the same reason too. You do absolutely nothing but watch those fat blobs KO themselves and have level 100 Pokémon within minutes. All that experience needs to be earned, and the best way we've had to do that yet is via the Black Tower/White Treehollow.

Pokemon games are not hard because the core concepts that define how the battles are done are not hard. It can be complex, but complexity isn't the same thing as difficulty. What would be better is more trainers with complex team combinations, with useful abilities, coverage moves and held items.

Self-imposed restrictions are not hard mode. The game needs to be challenging even when the player uses all the tools given to them by it.
