The fanbase is retarded and thinks Masuda does everything for some reason. He didn't even direct ORAS but he gets all the hate for no battle frontier just because he's the one who made up an excuse in an interview. And now we have LGPE which would have been casualized shit no wonder who directed it.

Not necessarily. If it had been up to Masuda customization wouldn't have made it into Gen 7, so while I don't have high hopes for him, he isn't quite as retarded as Masuda is.

He’s also the one that came up with the Rotomdex, although he did not direct Sun/Moon. A director doesn’t come up with every single creative idea for one game.

I give him a pass for ORAS since Masuda seemingly had a heavy presence creating those games. Even then, the DexNav is one of the best features to come out of any Pokemon game.

Also, Sun/Moon are great games, although they played more like a mini-movie for the 3DS given all the dialogue and cutscenes. That should be an easy fix going into Gen 8.

Ohmori doesn't get an active amount of hate because he stays on the sidelines a majority of the time. Trust me, if he was actively in every interview and pulling excuses out of his ass like Masuda he'd be getting memed on as well. I don't know why people go to such an extreme effort to meme on the man though. Do you think he actively sits in his office looking for ways to shit on the series? Imagine being that paranoid. If anything GF is the main factor of blame since they could the company as a whole could easily find better developers to handle the games.

Why did they even give Iwao a platform? He was literally known for making the absolutely terrible Pokémon Musical, worst map of a Pokémon region being Kalos, casualizing Pokémon Contests, and being the guy who thought using the empty lots as places for something as completely pointless as the Photo Club. He is literally the guy that makes all the shitty minigames. Why did they let him direct USUM? He changed almost nothing about the game from SM
