Everything that makes LG so pathetic is just taking XY, ORAS and SM to the next level. The lazy animations and copy-pasted content, being a decade behind in terms of technology and optimization, nostalgia pandering, seeming to be aimed at literal kindergartners, braindead difficulty even by Pokemon standards, constant drawn out and poorly done tutorials, dumb additions while removing features from previous games (following Pokemon and DexNav being the biggest offenders), gimmicks nobody cares about, it just goes on and on.
Gen 6 and 7 were terribly regressive, designed by misguided committee on an assembly line as cheaply and quickly as possible, which is exactly what LGPE are.
