Pretty much a more usable Forretress ingame: It actually makes use of its 2nd type for strong STAB moves, unlike Forry.
Also a better Forry in competitive.

I feel bad for Forretress.

Its usefulness made it one of my favourite grass types. Motherfucker eats every attack (that's not Fire) and hits back like a truck.
Curse/Leech Seed/Power Whip/Gyro Ball moveset is extremely good in-game. With that, you don't go to Pokecenters to heal - you go there to reload.

I unironically love its design. It's very aesthetic and I'm saying that seriously: it has a great combination of colors and the way it's mostly made out of basic shapes makes it pleasant to look at.

Pretty cool design that surprisingly gets a sizable amount of hate. Competitive I can understand, but designwise? Nothing about Ferrothorn's look is remotely offensive.

I was always a big fan of Forretress so I dislike him on principle. Even his name is a cooler version of Forretress!! I wish he was a final evo rather than a separate line.
