>>36348194>Why do you still play, anon? How haven't you ran out of steam?Mostly because of my genuine love for the franchise and remaining hope that Generations 8 and 9 will find some way to give me a sense of wholeness that Generations 1-5 provided. I should know from experience though that remaining onto false hopes and waiting around is a bad idea because it leads to further disappointment.
>What keeps you interested, what keeps you coming back?Just seeing what they can do with the overall regions, storyline, and of course new addition of Pokemon is always a blast, no matter how small the Regional Dex may be nowadays. I love the new features too like Regional Forms, hope they expand on that.
>Where did you find the patience to endure the tedium that is so deeply entrenched in this series?I just kind of naturally have good patience and hold onto the belief that my waiting will be rewarded eventually despite not being promised anything to begin with. Really bad habit actually and I don't recommend it. I have other series to invest myself in though, so I'm not entirely upset.
>What's your (actual) favorite (the one you think of first, deep down inside yourself, whenever someone asks this question) Pokemon? Why?When I look deep down, I always either come to Marshadow, Froslass, or Hoopa as my favorite Pokemon. My overall love for the Ghost typing has been deeply ingrained since I just overall love their designs and the lore behind a good half of them. To be specific though:
>MarshadowI've wanted the Ghost/Fighting typing for awhile, and they really delivered by creating a little boxing ghost that lurks in the shadows.
>If you could be any Pokemon, which one would you be?I honestly don't know. I always have this big desire to just sprout wings and fly through the night sky though, among the clouds and stars. I'm also a Winter person and love the cold, so I choose Articuno.
