I don't really do competitive, but Playing FR against my friend who had Ruby during a school travel when i was a kid was pretty comfy, one of the older kids wanted to play against me and made a bet that he could beat me for some money ... the match was going in my favor and he ended up wimping out of it

When I was a kid, playing on Yellow, I stupidly threw a Master Ball at Articuno. It fucking missed. The next turn it got caught with a Pokeball. Sometime after that while leaving the seafoam islands I accidentally dropped my GBC and the game put me back at Saffron since I apparently forgot to save.
