Let's say Let's Go sells five million worldwide. That means we're going to get one side claiming it's the best sales ever for a non-mainline and/or console Pokémon game, that it's great considering the Switch only has sold X number, that the number is still amazing and only "bad" by Pokémon's own incredibly high standards, etc., while the other side will claim it's a blunder, that Let's Go is a mainline Pokémon game, that it had lower sales than Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon and fewer than the Zelda and Mario Switch games, etc.
We can be sure that no matter what Let's Go's sales numbers ultimately look like, we can be guaranteed both sides will continue to act retarded at the end of the day.
