I used to like “just gets bigger” evos until l looked up lots of fakemon lines. There where some lines that I felt one stage should either be scrapped or redesigned entirely. Then I realized evolutions that takes risks compared to “playing it safe” were the best ones.

"Just getting bigger" is exactly what evos should be. I'm tired of cute baby -> awesome mid -> ugly as all fuck final. Imagine if Zorua just became an Arcanine-sized Zorua instead of turning into a fursuiter.
