What went wrong

Personally I was warming up to her until USUM ruined everything, but I don't consider it canon so I still like her as a character. Her anime self is also nice.

Interesting character with a new archetype to the series, an abusive mother figure. Nice character development that could have been shortened immensely instead of making every other cutscene in the story revolve around her.

US/UM weren't sequels where we traveled back to Kanto and got to further explore her development as a character. Not to mention all her pointless appearances in the story, it kind of sucks.
