HG/SS are overrated pieces of shit that do nothing for the Johto region or overall game in general besides being ports of G/S/C in updated graphics with better music. Shitty level curve, no Pokemon diversity, slow gameplay, more Kanto pandering, pure retardation. Generation IV itself was an absolute shitshow, and I have no clue why it gets so highly praised when it might as well be a slower Generation V.
