I alao believed that Lillie and her family were ultra beasts in disguise, and that Sun and Moon would be a alien filled sci-fi adventure. I'm glad UBs are catchable, but that's about it. I hate how most of them aren't in the main story, I hate how Lillie is a boring human who isn't even a trainer, and I hate Gladion and his Type:Null were just perfectly good concepts who just weren't utilized properly. Seeing /vp/ complain and spoil SM for me caused me to lower my expectations, and I ended liking the game. But thinking back on all the wild theories I had makes me remember my disapointment I had for the overall.
I thought alolan forms were okay, but unnecessary. Some of them are actually good, some are only good for getting made fun of, and some are just plain ugly. There's a reason why people only seem to care about a select few alolan forms.
