I know /vp/ loves to mock us lillie bros but am I the only one that fucking hates how lillie ends in USUM?

The SM ending was perfect, ends with lillie surpassing her old beliefs and going to kanto to finally achieve her goals and become a trainer.

In USUM she just ends as cuckui assistant totally wasting all her development that she got in our adventure

I think GF has said fans didn't like Lillie is gone after becoming champion in SM, so they changed it in USUM. Could be wrong, though.

Lillie is no longer near as developed, Lusamine just plain doesn't make any sense, Gladion disappears this time because muh Johto, and Lusamine and Gladion retardedly find Mohn but lets him fuck off again, as if him being happy is worth them not being happy. Not to mention knowing he has a fucking family might make him just as happy. It's not like he'd have to stop being Pelago guy just because he got his family back.

SM might have had flaws and whatnot, but I preffer its story a lot over USUM's. Kukui as a champion battle was way better than Hau, just to name something from the top of my head. I guess USUM beats SM in terms of mechanics, since they tweaked SOS battles and some other stuff that needed retooling.

Also slightly off-topic question: in a generation, are the events of the third version considered "more" canon than the events of the initial two versions? for example if I said lusamine is my favorite main villain, could someone come and tell me "actually that's not canon, in USUM she tried to help subdue necrozma" or something like that?
