I remembered this scene. Just like >>36382643 it kinda terrified me as a kid as well when those jelly tentacle thingies are capturing people and pokemon. Later on, I saw this one dungeon scene in the Berserk anime where people were being killed and absorbed by this jelly thing and that's maybe why I find this Groudon scene to be so terrifying.

Last one I watched was the 8th movie because I gave zero fucks about the series after TPCi cheaped out. I was 20.

Raikou got that special and appeared in both the Zoroark and Marshadow movies.
Ho-Oh was main legendary in the Marshadow movie, even if it didn't do much in the end.

Meanwhile Kyogre just got a cameo in the Manaphy movie and was one of the 20 or so legendaries in the Hoopa movie. The whale got absolutely cucked when it comes to movie screentime.

TPC hates unpopular Pokemon.
Since Kyogre isn't as popular as Groudon, it's not allowed to have much screentime on TV because budget.

Didn't know Japan loves Kyogre that much.
I thought Japan loves whatever the fuck breathes and farts fire. Also considering this is from the land who has Godzilla as part of their culture it's quite surprising.

but anyway, I always saw Primal Groudon being a fan-favorite, and seeing it everywhere instead of Kyogre makes you think that Groudon is way too popular.

Nah, Groudon has kind of been under Kyogre's shadow highly since the beginning of gen 3, they most likely gave it a cameo here to boost it's popularity, but that didn't seem to work all that well.

Yes. What is even that thing? I know it's a fake Groudon, but what is it made of? A virus, weird chemicals, pure concentrated evil? There's no visible reason why it turned out the way it did. It's both obvious and mysterious.

Does the main series even have non-pokémon entities? I mean besides humans, plants, fungi and pokérus, of course.
The anime and spin-offs had some of them, like SPMD's Dark Matter, but in the main games we basically just have pokémon, unless you count Pokéstar Studios props.
