I've worked at a Target and a Gamestop and the amount of kids that come through wanting Pokemon stuff is exactly as you'd expect, a lot.
One of the most touching things I can think of is the time I was visiting a local game shop and there was a young girl carrying around Pokemon plushies and also an old man buying a N64 Transfer Pak for Stadium, it was really neat to see.
But regardless, people who think Pokemon isn't still for kids are fucking retarded.
