This gen had some great designs. The only legends I actually really like come from this gen -- Solgaleo, Type:Null/Silvally, Tapu Koko. UBs are great, especially Buzzwole, Xurkitree, and Blacephalon.
Then as a Bug fan, in addition to the aforementioned Buzzwole, I was blessed with Vikavolt (speed stat aside), Araquanid, and Golisopod. Great gen for Bug types -- and really, for Electric types too. Besides the shitfest that is Zeraora, of course. Which is really disappointing, since it looked great in the menu sprite leak.
