I'm pissed all she amounted to ingame was a malasada dispenser. They could've done something interesting by having her represent the good side of Aether, working against Lusamine and forming a conflict within the organization, but that didn't happen. Instead she just sits around doing nothing.

Literally every single choice made throughout the entirety of Gen 7 is a complete and utter disappointment and waste of potential. It's astounding.

But yeah, white people made them anyway I guess, although in the western islands of Madeira and Azores.
They might be older than doughnuts or not, but Hawaii didn't see them until late 19th century.
