so basically the game will never directly tell you who Silver's parents are, except for the Celebi event, which reveals that giovanni is his dad. however, you can infer early on that

now if that were the case, who could it be and why? there's only a few possibilities, since they need to have red hair or the possibility for it, and be in the Johto/Kanto area.
>Clair: has the genetic possibility for red hair because of Lance, however, doesn't recognize Silver as a son and Silver doesn't recognize her as a mother during the double battle. however, Silver does do a lot of training in the Dragon's Den post-E4. maybe he finds out the truth and wants to know his mother more after.>Whitney's mother: Whitney is the only other person in Johto or Kanto with reddish hair. as Whitney is too young to give birth to Silver, it could be likely that her mother is also Silver's mother. but probably not though, since there's nothing hinting to this.>Ariana: she was close to Giovanni, taking up as the leader in his absence, and has the exact same hair color as Silver. it's not a stretch to think that maybe they fooled around a little one night, and nine months later, Silver was born.>Silver is a total edgelord and dyes his hair: by far one of the most likely options. which still begs the question: just who is Silver's mother?in result, it's likely, but inconclusive.
