even so it is my favorite pokemon, but I will not ignore all its faults, in its favor it is not blatantly furbait like its preevolution, having a rather neutral design

Mystical Fire now lowers Sp. Atk and Speed, give it Thunderbolt, and Magician powers up certain “spell” moves, like Mega Launcher (but only by 20%). T-bolt, Mystical Fire, Psychic, Psyshock, Dazzling Gleam, Signal Beam, and Shadow Ball would be good

This sounds good, but with such mediocre speed, also why give a magician some physical strength? they should enhance their advantages to the extreme, similar to Pheromosa or Alakazam.

the huge movepool doesnt make sense. It is fire witch, not a multi elemental one. And movepool means shit when the stats are absolute garbage and typing is awful. No redeeming qualities about this shitmon.

same. Went blind so I did say wtf is this after braixen evolved, but it didn't take me long to start liking deplhox. Fire/Psychic and its movepool made it fun to use. Mystical Fire, Psyshock, Will-o-Wisp and Calm Mind worked in pretty much every battle. I didn't have as much fun with Chesnaught upon replying, and I still can't get to like Greninja.

well, actually Delphox is the starter with the lowest atk stat and the second highest sp.atk stat (only second to primarina) and the third lowest HP stat iirc

they missed the opportunity to give it a witch hat or do something completely different, maybe give it a broom and a signature move. the design itself is average and dissapointing in comparison to it's pre-evos and the other starters. shit in competitive. one of the possible reasons they just called it a day on a bigger version is likely to shill the gay frog as the good starter. the only way to fix their fuck-up is giving it a mega with an actual witch-theme or similar

135 S atk, 120 speed, and 50 atk
vs
Delphox
114 s atk, 104 speed and 69 atk

the distribution of Alakazam stats is more practical. What is the use of Delphox to be stronger phisically that Alakazam? if it is still mediocre, they should redistribute those points and use them wisely. The last straw is that Delphox has a higher overall score (534) and is not as useful as Alakazam (500)

The design would be fixed almost entirely by opening the robe/skirt at the front to make it more of a trailing coat.

There's too much blank, solid color over the model and a lack of complexity, letting the legs be visible from the front would introduce more black into the design, look better from a stylistic sense, make more fucking sense so it isn't tripping over its fur and add enough complexity that it doesn't look like a fucking cone.

Yes it would probably also make it lewder. . . which for an anthropomorphic fox, is probably the direction they want to go for anyway. But I do agree with that Anon anyway. The black legs being visible would break up the monotony of its design and make it look as though it's actually able to walk.

but the main problem is how difficult it is to animate a fur dress and its ear hair, that moves so rigid and unnatural in the 3d model, instead in the anime it is fluid and dynamic
