HGSS is a special case, the authentic cartridges are darker than normal DS carts and they came with the pokewalker, which is why brand new sealed boxes go for $130~$200+. HGSS was widely believed to be the greatest pokemon game of all time so the demand for it's higher than many other pokemon games. It's the only game series where your pokemon (beyond Pikachu in Yellow) can walk behind you.

There's still copies at both of the Gamestops near me, they're pretty high mark-up but they're authentic copies.
