How would you fix this region to make it less forgettable/more enjoyable?
Making these guys at least useful
>Tierno is your contest rival. He is also a dance move tutor (Dragon Dance, Fiery Dance, Quiver Dance...) and he has at least 4 Pokemon on his team, each with a different dance move.
>Trevor works as the Prof. Oak assistant in Kanto, so he gives you items and rewards if you have caught a certain amount of Pokemon. He also tells you about swarms or where to find Mega Stones.
>Shauna checks happiness and massages your Pokemon now. She can also give you one Johto Pokeball per day after showing her a Pokemon with great friendship or something.
