I'm in National Park fighting all NPCs before taking on Whitney.
I pre-hatched this team in Silver, Porygon2 is from Red because I wanted BoltBeam right away, I haven't used it yet however and I won't until I beat Morty, and yes, since these were all traded, they stopped listening to me after level 10 so I had to catch a spearow to fight Bugsy. Hitmontop I also pre evolved in Silver to make sure I'd get him over Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee (not that I have anything against them but I wanted a full gen 2 team). Also Quagsire might be ok once it gets Surf and EQ but jesus christ Wooper is bad

Get yourself a Honedge with Island Scan or trade it if you can. I hatched these mons (yes I ran like an idiot on route 1 for an eternity) and it did pretty good. You could use Vikavolt over Magnezone for example, however by having Honchkrow you get access to Haze at lv11 so enjoy trivializing Totems, if you do want to use one be sure to trade over a Dusk Stone unless you want to wait until Ula Ula to evolve him

decided to do an emerald run where I just use OP shit, the only trade-off being some of them are hard to find and raise. I'm planning on Milotic and Salamence next.

Slakoth is a good investment 'mon, but Sporeloom is the ultimate long-term Investment.
Baltoy or Metagross are also good picks to replace Alakazam if you'd rather use Gen 3 mons specifically.

I would honestly say Meganium is better in Johto than Decidueye is in Alola. Dark moves are fucking EVERYWHERE in Alola, especially the Ultra games. At least Meganium has general bulk against some of the more deadly neutral targets like Clair's Kingdra.

Pretty solid team imo. If it was ORAS I’d say you could almost sweep the E4 but it’s been a long time since I played generation 3.

I'd probably trade in Alolan Ninetales in then. I do have a Aurorus though. In all honesty I'm leaning towards using a good Ghost type.

Here's my Platinum Nuzlocke right now, I just beat the first Cyrus battle. I barely use Evee or Kricketune at all though, just waiting for better mons/friendship for Evee and Kricketune is only there for rock smash, cut, and sing if I want to catch something.
