Incineroar, however, was given almost exclusively benefits that allowed it to become a VGC mon. Considering this is Masuda's favorite Gen 7 Pokemon, can't say I'm surprised.
>>36406512They will most likely ban non-Gen 8 region Pokemon once Gen 8 VGC is revealed. (Incineroar, being a starter, is unlikely to ever make the regional dex the first year.) Game Freak admitted that they created certain Pokemon to counter the overused/most viable ones. We may very well have a dedicated anti-Incineroar mon in Gen 8.
