>>36412995i totally understand what you mean. i think i just like both. at least i always find the new pokemon really delightful, though i agree they have become as a generalisation less "malleable" with far more design elements. but often i find the lots of design elements thing charming for its own sake.
at the same time i think that coolmon in general have pretty set personalities though, like there's basically a "blastoise personality", a "charizard personality", a "venusaur personality" integrated into the design. the more expression you put into the pokemon the more features you need to give it every time so that it's that pokemon.
