I did start having an interest towards Gardevoir after seeing all the r34 contemt of them. I saw them simply as objects of sexual desires back then. But it all changed.
I began chatting with other Pokémon fans, reading entries about them, stories about them, joining communities about them. I learned of their loyalty and their drive to protect their Trainer. I learned of their ways of showing affection and interest.
Slowly but surely, my interest transformed into admiration, and from admiration into love.
I love Gardevoir. I love them for their loyalty, their beauty, their design, their drive to protect.
I love this Pokémon and I'm sad to see that there are people that don't see her as more than a sex object.
