Who else thinks these are great? I'm playing through these for the first time and I'm extremely impressed.

The negativity on 4chan can be too much sometimes but it's times like this where I appreciate it. You guys set my standards really low and now I'm being pleasantly surprised over and over again

>The writing is a clear step up from other games in the series
>The new pokemon designs feel a lot more natural
>The villains are actually memorable again
>The overworld looks great, the best looking overworld in the franchise
>The pacing is nice
>Alola forms were a great idea
>the game just looks great
>great attention to detail

My ONLY complaint is the 2 hour hand holding in the front of the game, that was too much. Not another complaint other than that though. If these aren't the best games in the franchise, they're very close.
