>>36430855I wouldn't say it's "intentionally bad", but just built for casuals, kids, and people that got back in through Go. 151 is easier to digest than 800/900+ Pokemon. You hook them back with a thrown together 1:1 remake, and then hit them with the high quality shit. It's not intentionally bad, it's just marketed to another segment of the audience.
that said, it's gonna be shit, but it'll still sell enough to warrant either DLC of other regions, or sequels for the other regions.
