I prefer newer Digimon games to newer Pokémon games. Bandai might not give them the resources they need to make truly great games but at least they're trying. Unlike Pokémon which has all the founding in the world and still spits out mediocre titles.

As for the anime I wouldn't say it is that simple. Digimon both higher tops and lower bottoms than Pokémon.

Are the last few any good? The post... World 4 (?) had that underdog feel. I haven't played any of them.

Yeah, but it always feels like Digimon is trying something, whereas Pokemon is just adventure of the week over and over
