Put yourself in the shoes of some kid playing Pokemon for the first time. If it's too unclear, they'll go play another game instead of bothering with it, especially since the plethora of mobile games makes that easy. At least, that's what GF's fears are with this new generation of kids.

Thanks the casuals who think things like TLoZ is a bad game because you actually have to explore and do some trial and error and *gasp* actually maybe ask someone else for help to find the patterns and the manual (which why the fuck would you even read it before playing? I never have) only tells the how to do 25% of it, not everything.

It's for kids first and foremost. Look, if what people including myself are saying will come to pass and LGPE will contain all the casual while the 2019 games will be more BotW-esque, then GF is taking the appropriate steps to respond to fan concerns.

TLoZ is surprisingly easy to beat. Breath of the Wild was probably the most casual game in the series yet because of how streamlined of a game it is. You literally sit in a sandbox and can fly straight to Ganon's Castle without having to go through the Beasts, or whatever those sorry excuses for dungeons are, and you can beat the game easily. The final boss is that much of a joke really.

You people have some crazy imagination to be honest, because there's no way in hell we're headed for that direction. You have to ask yourself, what if the casuals play LGPE and think
>"Wow this is a great game unironically! I'm definitely going to pick up the 2019 title!"
But struggle like shit because all the mechanics and increased difficulty, or whatever is there instead of being what they're used to? I'm sure the main games will be just as casual if not a little more tense. I don't even want to talk about the graphics, because we know how shitty GF is with 3D.

Except this IS where the franchise is headed. Think from Masuda's perspective, or a marketing standpoint in general. You don't create games with fucking casualized while cutting out core elements of the series to the point where even GF is turning it's head. It's clear that he intends to split the fandom between casual and hardcore. It's not hard to understand you fucking idiots.

This really. If Generation 8 isn't at least some form of good, I'm probably going to abandon the series and get into some other franchises. Sticking around for years to come, just to be disappointed with the outcome of a franchise is something I'm far too familiar with, aka Megaman and Sonic.

Where are you getting this? Gamefreak has gone more and more casual with each new game. Why would they suddenly do a 180 with gen 8, especially when LGPE is meant to draw all the casuals in? Maybe you'd have a modicum of a point if they released simultaneously, but they're clearly treating every game as the next big release that everyone is meant to buy.
