I don't know if you guys here would appreciate this since its a long ass read but I've been working on a google doc of what a Kanto remake on the Switch could've been if Gamefreak had decided to innovate a little and not learn so hard into nostalgia pandering territory and make a stripped down Firered and Leafgreen with less content.
