How good are they with Eviolite? The only one I really know anything about is Porygon2 which is amazing.

Is there any way of making Aipom or Yanma usable?

I mean sure some of them like Lickilicky and Ambipom are steaming turds, but cross-generations as a concept is something I hope comes back beyond just Eevee pandering.

The only truly terrible cross-gen evos are Rhyperior, Magmortor, Lickilicky and Ambipom - and all of their unevolved forms were trash designs anyway so nothing of value was lost.

Actually really good, probably the best of the bunch you listed since its currently UU and sometimes saw use in OU since its faster than magnezone but eviolite means no specs or LO so you won't be killing steel types as hard as magnezone

theres a lot of ways to make this thing work, its pretty versatile, just a shame its natural stat spread is so glass

and no aipom and yanma are actual garbage
maybe they see use in lc, i dont actually know

I don't have an issue with Cross Generation evolutions, but honestly we might never get any new cross evolutions again despite how it could make a lot of old Pokemon good again. A lot of these designs are fine, but taste is subjective. Not to mention from a competitive standpoint, a good handful of these Pokemon are still really good.

I always thought cross-gen evolutions were pretty cool as a concept, even if some of the designs are meh. Made plenty of mediocre Pokémon suddenly worthwhile to obtain and viable, without having to hold a Mega whatever. To this day, Electivire, Togekiss, Yanmega, and Weavile hold a place in my heart. If you don't like cross-evos, just don't evolve the Pokémon.
