>>36438221To be more specific, it's to stop listening to people who have not been willing to pay for at least most of them and just keep the fucking content that got you your existing players from every fucking game.
Removing shit people liked in an attempt to appeal to people who don't want it at all, is not how you grow a player base.
Anything demanding anything removed/changed for the sake of change (as in no legitimate reason like "there's too many") should be told to fuck off without reserve.
If more than 151 Pokémon irks you, you should be told to fuck off, if more than 10 items irks you, you should be told to fuck off, if strategy to beat shit irks you, you should be told to fuck off, if wild battles irk you, you should be told to fuck off, if the Frontier irks you, you should be told to fuck off, if turn based battles irks you, you should be told to fuck off, and so and so on.
Millions of people like what it has been and are willing to pay them for it now. Add things to the side to bring in other players if possible, but changing the main shit is asinine because it only risks alienating those millions of players who fucking matter if you as a company want money and want to expand the player base to get more money.
So many players would spend the hundreds of hours playing what they've removed alone, let alone anything new added alongside it no matter how long it took to develop and Masuda keeps telling them to fuck off which is completely fucking backwards.
