>Diamondized (Dmd)
-The Pokemon inflicted with Diamondized becomes impervious to damage but is unable to move. Heals itself after 2 turns. (The turn in which the status has been inflicted doesn't count). Removes itself when the Pokemon is withdrawn*
-Diamondized Pokemon take no damage from terrain effects, weather, and traps such as Spikes or Stealth Rock. Residual damage from moves such as Constrict are negated and the status is removed. Damage from items such as Life Orb still applies. Moves like Confuse Ray aswell as moves that raises or lowers the target stats still work on a diamondized Pokemon.
>Possible moves that could inflict it
-Glaring stare (0 power, 75 accuracy, 5pp)
-Diamond dust (70ish power, 85 accuracy, 30 pp, 10% chance to dmd opponent)
-Jewel storm (65 power, 80 accuracy, 15 pp,30% to dmd opponent)
>Possible status remover
-Dust cleaner (500P, removes dust). Like all the status remover, but either white or grey.
-Litchi Berry (Found like other berries, heals Dmd when the holder is inflicted with the effect), looks like a Litchi no fucking shit
>Reasoning behind it
The Pokemon is so shocked by the opponent's *insert thing here* it's body turns into stone/diamond. It could also be covered in rocks or other minerals, encasing the Pokemon in stone/diamond.
*The reason why it heals itself on switch is because you would need two turns to put the Pokemon back on the field anyway. One turn to withdraw, one turn to switch back.
Yup. It's just a mix of the Frozen status in PMD and the Diamondized status in Earthbound. Really fucking original amarit ?
