When will reviewers start sticking up for consumers and stop sucking off every pokemon game that comes out no matter the circumstances or release context? I feel like since gen 4, every single game has gotten dozens of reviews that say "it's the same old pokemon game again. The formula is as strong as ever but beginning to grow stale!" And then the game inevitably gets a mid 80s range game.

Even with how much of a ripoff USUM was, hardly any professional reviewers mention that shit. Aren't there any reviewers that are going to put down their foot and say "they literally copy pasted the game and added a surfing minigame, do not buy this lazy trash." Do they even play the series or do companies always assign 2 random reviewers to shuffle around the wording of the previous game's reviews?
