Remember back in the waning days of Gen 5, with the genesect movie on the horizon, and images like pic related were leaking about, leading people to think Mewthree was actually gonna be a thing? Or that pokemon was gonna go full Digimon? Good times, good times.

I like X conceptually more. Mewtwo gets pissed at all the physical attackers who are thrown against him in Ubers, so he becomes a physical attacker to kick ass at their own game.

Y is an abomination, both in design and purpose.

Mewtwo in the Genesect movie was a female. I wasn't upset by this, but I was upset that it had the exact same backstory as the real Mewtwo and was portrayed as less like a troubled god and more like a Pokemon with limited power.
