The games have always depicted Exeggutor as a manlet for some reason, but nowadays I guess they're using the excuse that it's tiny so Alolan Exeggutor looks even bigger.

Game design is very hard...
We're being held at metaphorical gunpoint by both ours and Nintendo's shareholders to release a Pokemon game every single year, and they were getting very impatient for a Switch Title as well. This was our only option in such a short time with barely any time to focus on developing for the platform.
We can't hire more people in bulk frequently because that would make us seem like we're not as powerful as they all like to think we are, weakness is when they get to abandon us.
Please, for the love of god and all that is holy, stop buying these games. Stop buying the merchandise. Stop watching the anime. Stop talking about Pokemon. Just stop. Let us have a fucking break. We have more than enough money to kick back and relax, but they'll never let us go until Pokemon is no longer in their interests.
