People will continue to hate every Generation for any and all reasons, much like how people will continue to love every Generation for any and all reasons.
Although even that far into the future, people will still utterly despise Kanto because you fucking know good and well GameFreak will continue to artificially produce genwunners by remaking and porting Kanto every so often.

The average lifespan of a generation is about 3 years, and we already know Gen 8 is coming out next year.
Gen 31 would actually come out in 2085 if the lifespan remained consistent, but realistically I can see it coming much sooner by limiting generations to Debut Games and Upper Versions with absolutely no gap years, making it about 2-2.5 years.

I mean, Gen I is the only generation where the monster designs seemed effortless and natural. As soon as they ran out of animals to base off of and started doing household objects, I'm out. I'll play Gen II OU if that.
