It'd be legitimately better if the story played just like SM, and then the Necrozma arc came just before the E4, AFTER the Lusamina resolution, or even postgame.
SM literally has a better story. For how much that game forces Lillie and Lusamine into your face, at least they make WAY more sense as characters when you don't remove a third of their character development to add some random alien legendary mascot into it at the last second.
