>>36460461I could be wrong, but I don't think there's any way to get a ds to interact with, say, a laptop running citra. But if you have an r4 card or similar running the Rom on a DS, then it would act identically to a real game. Pre-gen-4 gets a little more hairy, but should still work transferring to the same generation of games.
Hopefully, if there is some way to get cite a to interact with a real ds/3ds, someone will correct me on that.
