Why would it be unfit to have a Dark-type Gym Leader but not unfit to have a Dark-type Elite Four or even a Dark-type Island Kahuna? Bulu picked Nanu so it's not like it discriminates against Dark-type so why should people?

Dark type thread?

im doing a mono run in Theta Emerald EX. Its fun because dark types have a lot of common weaknesses.

Sure, similar to the one I used in Y except I didn't bother raising a Deino because of how late it evolves. I believe I had Sneasel over it.

Dark isn't my favourite type, but I think it might have the best ration of good to bad designs. Very few I dislike, and some god-tier Pokemon like Murkrow and Alola-Muk.

I always thought it was just a coincidence that they never had a Dark gym leader and they just kept it going like a little tradition over time for no particular reason.

im sure there's no real reason considering there's dark type elite 4, but I'm surprised they didn't do a dark gym in kalos to flex fairies more
